Brahmmani

Why Brahmmani?

Brahmmani is a name that emerged naturally from my inner journey, beyond identity, beyond labels and also with my affinity to eagles.

Rooted in Sanskrit, it carries layered meanings:
Brahma = the Creator
Brahm = imagination, illusion, cosmic play
Mani = jewel, light, crystal

Brahmmani is also associated with Brahmi, one of the Sapta Matrikas, an aspect of Adi Shakti, the feminine creative force. She is the Shakti of Brahma, the power behind creation.

The name echoes the Brahminy Kite, a sacred bird in Hindu symbolism, associated with Garuda, representing vision, freedom, divine insight, and higher awareness.

As a child, I often dreamed of flying effortlessly rising above mountains and landscapes, weightless and luminous. That same sense of elevation returns when I create. My art unfolds like flight: scenes emerging, transforming, revealing themselves.

Over time, I realized this work was asking to be signed with a personal name, but to be offered through a presence—a guiding feminine intelligence that creates, nurtures, and reveals.

Brahmmani is that presence.
Not a persona, but a channel.

Brahma + Mani = Brahmmani
Light of the Creator
