Shivalingam to Shivohum

शिवमात्मनि पश्यन्ति प्रतिमासु न योगिनः | अज्ञानं भावनार्थाय प्रतिमाः परिकल्पिताः || ५९ || - जाबालदर्शनोपनिषत्

A yogin perceives god (Siva) within himself, images are for those who have not reached this knowledge.

— Jabaladarsana Upanishad, verse 59

The workings of a human body on energetic levels is depicted in the an-iconic symbol called Shivalingam. This painting clarifies that Shivalingam is not the depiction of sexual creation but actually an energy generator in itself.

There is no beginning or end to describe God/shiva/ supreme, the dancing eternal white light filled with superconductors of gold. Full of unconditional love.

Shiva : He who has 1008 (or 10,008) Roopa (forms/ essence) like Bhole, Rudrashiva, Nataraja, Ardhanreshwar, Triambakeshwar. He who is the Shunya, or the zero point holding all the potential in one minuscule dot. He who is the formless, and self-activated....

26 years of getting to know Shiva. starting from my text books in college then through my guru Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudeva.

A constant drip of small droplets of information transforming into oceans of heart and mind clarity.

The eventuality of every soul.

This painting is an ode to the ShivaShakti (balanced masculine/feminine energy) that guides us all.

May you receive clarity of perception, peace in emotions and a deeper knowing and betterment of yourself everyday.
